Greetings

Hello again after more than a month without updates :( I thought i promised myself that I'll update at least once a month. But nooooooo, turns out, someone as unimportant and unpopular as me is still very very very busy! My last post was right before Chinese New Year and obviously I can't everyone can't update their blogs because we're all too busy celebrating.

After CNY, I was too busy with school. Takes every ounce of effort to get back on schedule; to get my sleeping cycle back in order, and eating cycle in order and plainly, just getting back to school mode

We have a marching competition in school where we only have 1 day 1 to 2 hours of practice to prepare for the competition the following week. Long story short, I think my unit, Police Cadet or Kadet Polis did pretty bad, with everyone walking with different arms and legs out, plus we wore different T-shirts (because most of us haven't received the t-shirt in which we ordered last year). Somehow we managed to get second place. Definitely some foul play involved here because I think other units are more uniformed and marched more synchronously than us. And I got sunburned :(

And then there's a singing competition in school - to get co-curriculum marks. In Malaysia, the most important thing to students, second to academic marks is co-curriculum marks aka markah koko. Me and another 3 more schoolmates - 2 girls and 1 guy were going to sing "Way Back Into Love" from the movie Music and Lyrics and were the 8th group out of 16 or 17 groups to perform. As per Malaysian schools customs, the schedule of the day was too tight and we were deemed to perform 2 weeks after that faithful day. Sure, we get more time to practice, but I think that we have had enough practice. No matter how much more time we have on our hands to practice, we are never going to be able to get rid of that nervous feeling. STAGE FRIGHT ZOMGGGG!!!

During/ just before the singing competition, my body (immune system) had to fall apart. T_T Pretty sure that it's because of the marching competition. It was raining and shining very brightly that day. First we had to march under the rain, then under the scorching sun. -_- And so, that's how I fell sick. I got so worried because there was the singing competition coming up then, and I was sick. My stress level went up for nothing. Fml.

So now I'm back, cured from the flu and sore throat. And it's a good hair day. So I'm happy. And so I'm blogging :)  So here's a picture of my face... again :P

Although I'm still stressed up with loads of homeworks and PBS and exams and a drawing competition - this is again, for the sake of koko marks.

Second apocalypse approaching

Somehow it feels like it's been such a long time since I get to come home without any homeworks for the day. Yay! I have time to feed this blog. If it was a goldfish, it should be dead by now. Thank god it isn't.

CNY is coming in about 4 more days? and then after/during that, there's the second doomsday of the century aka Single's Day aka Valentine's Day. No, I'm not sad being single, in fact I'm loving it :D I mean, you gotta enjoy what you have at the moment cause you'll be busier and poorer when you get a partner right? It's not going to be a lonely 14 February because all my friends except one *ehem* are single. Probably going visiting anyways.

This year itself, some of my friends have asked "Eh, why are you still single?" "When you wanna get a boyfriend?" "What do you look for in a guy?"

Answer to #Q1 : Because I am happy without anyone right now? And also because the guys my age (that I know) are childish.
#Q2 : When I meet someone nice? ;)
#Q3 : Okay. Now, that's a good question that I want to elaborate on.

Well, my immediate response was
"Someone good la!"
"What la? How la? -_-"
"Someone good in every aspect la! Appearance, intelligence, personality, etc..."

I mean of course right we all want someone who is good. RIGHT?!! RIGHT?!! First we look at the brains. Of course we all want a smart partner. But obviously, if they're too smart, we'll always be insecure and think we're too stupid for him/her. And then we'll begin to think how he/she will (one fine day) find someone smarter than us and all that crap. Next, face! Hmmm... If you get a bf/gf who is very good looking, you'll feel the say way as mentioned before. Insecure. See? You want someone who is just in the middle. Not too smart, not too dumb, not too hot, not too ugly.

Somemore, I want a guy who can be my best friend, who tells me everything and anything because that's what you do. I imagined that he (future bf and/or husband) will be the first person I want to tell everything and anything that had happened that day.

Plus! I want someone who can bring out the best in me. I believe that everyone has good and bad in them; it's how much you nurture the good or bad. I hope he will be someone who encourages me to be kind and moulds me into a good and loving person. And of course, I hope I'll learn how to mature or better yet, be matured by that time. Also, someone who doesn't raise their voice on me, and someone who doesn't lie to me, and someone who doesn't get too close to another girl. I'm the easily-get extremely jealous kind of girl, so even talking casually as friends with another girl will make me sad and/or mad. (Depending on my mood) Please read this post, my future bf/husband!

It's impossible to find the perfect one so let's just leave that job to God. We're busy living our lives anyway. We all know how :

That being said, I shall enjoy my single days with my friends while God is up there writing my love story. <3 Amen! Nah! Don't think I'll post anything without including my own photographs. I love myself so I made cookies and ate them :D Enjoy the visuals!

Happy Chinese New Year, Gong Xi Fa Cai, and Happy Valentine's Day in advance! :D
*just in case I'm not free to blog. But if I do, the ending of the post will be kinda awkward

It's about time.....

......I blogged about Jeniffer's birthday party which was on the 6th of January :) The first birthday party of 2013. How can i miss it? Have been so busy with homeworks and assignments that I even have to sacrifice sleep :'( So anyway! The focus here is Jen's BIRTHDAY PARTYYYY!!! :DDDDDDDD

We went about half and hour later than the rest (although we all had gathered prior to the birthday party because they're supposed to sign the card/mini-scrap-book) because we planned to surprise her. Jeni sent of invitations via SMS and Jinn suggested that we lie to Jen saying how we have tuition and etc and couldn't make it to her party and then show up at the party. *Phew~! That's 3 ands in a sentence!

Horse-ing around

So the other day I helped Alisha to make a birthday card for her tuition teacher, who she calls her brother because he has the same surname and also because he's a very close friend. She decided that she wants to make a horse-themed card and so I had asked her to look for horses pictures on Google. This is what she found :

She initially wanted to make the "funniest" one aka the ugly donkey (last pic with teeth showing). I told her that it was a donkey and then she agreed to do the first one. But knowing how Alisha is a NOOB when it comes to using the computer, I went to search for horse faces/horse-themed cards on my own.

Most childish but easiest one to do

Scrolled down somemore and found this:

We have a winner! :D

Since there is a tutorial on how to make this, plus its soooo simple to make, we decided to go with this design. But we added the hair on the head in between the two ears to hold the cards. Imagine the first horse picture above plus the one just above this paragraph. Can't imagine? Nevermind! We got take picture of the finished product! :D

TADAHHH!!! The horse-shaped card

Feedback from friends, teachers and parents :
Friend# Alisha'sParents# donkey
Teacher# pig *wtf?
MyDad# cow

We did this card at the very last minute. Just 2 hours before we have tuition that day, and ON the day when she's supposed to give it to the receiver. Conclusion : We deserve a pat on the back for completing it in such a short time. Yay! Big smiles :DDDDDDDDDD
