Thick faces

Deepavali was well spent with friends and food :) annddd lots of camwhoring session... again -_- with these monkeys : Ting, Vene, Xin Yu, Shirley, Rose and Ker Sin to Jheevi's house. We shamelessly went to Jheevi's house for lunch, had henna done and collected purple... pao? Derived from the word ang pao. Am I just freaking hilarious or what? >< After the same routine last year, I didn't think she would invite us over again T.T *sotouchedicancrynow* Feeling very guilty after finishing 2 or maybe 3 rounds of cookies and really yummy food. Of course not all by myself!

with Xin Yu, apparently I always mispronounce her name... ALWAYS :(

FOODDD!!! Thank you auntie! :)

 [Flashback]

Ting : Orghhh!!! I'm so full! Auntie! The mutton taste very good! Thank you so much.
Ohhhh I'm so full!!! *puts mutton in her mouth*
Omg I'm so full. Cannot eat anymore *puts a piece of mutton into her mouth again*

*this happened repeatedly, and Jheevi's mum ended up packing up some mutton for her to 'ta pao' home
After eating, we had Jheevi's sister draw henna for us. Felt so guilty during the whole process because the outcome was absolutely beautiful and she was doing it for FREE! Pretty sure my mouth was hanging wide open the entire time because it's fascinating that it was all done free hand!

Hot.... Food? ;)

As a person from Selangor, I really am not worthy of being a..... a...... a Selangor-an? For example, I haven't really have a complete experience of I-city despite staying so near. I can hear people gasping and rolling their eyes already. And if your mouth dropped, pick it up from the floor.

Anyways, it was my first time there, at the Subang Empire Shopping Gallery on the 14th of October this year. Apparently it opened in 2010. Talk about being a katak right? A quick check on its wiki page. Wiki failed to mention that there's a 5 storey slide!!! :D Anndddd!!! It's the world's tallest indoor slide!!! Weeheeee!!! Not that I got to try it -_- We went there at dinner time and were obviously hungry so I didn't get to try it :( Was too full after dinner and decided against going to the slide in case I vomit out the good food I had.

Okay, this post is supposed to be about fooodddd!!!! Oh, and also to thank my cousin, Jeanette and Aaron for treating us to a scrumptious meal at Chili's. We met them there, totally unexpectedly as we had a family event together the day before. Fate had brought us all together under one roof :P Hahahahah!!!

Being a katak once again, I had never eaten at Chili's before, because my sister and I can't eat spicy food and when my parents suggested trying, we immediately steered them away. *sigh* Why were we so stupid? We had foolishly assumed that they only served spicy food *facepalm* And this explains my post title. Geddit??!!! I know I am lame. My friends never failed to tell me that whenever I tell them my dry jokes aka try to be funny.

Super delicious mushroom soup in the foreground + crackers to go with it

If I'm not mistaken, this dish is called 'Triple Dipper'

*nom nom nom*

Cajun Club Sandwich with French Fries

This should be 'Quesa Chicken'. A little spicy, but still yummy

I think this is Chicken Club Tacos

South Western Grilled Lamb

Mash potato!!! Asdfghjk!!!

FC Dory

The rice... is awezomeee

 Oreo smoothie <3

Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert

Dad sleeping? Nah! Should be thanking god for the good food. Amen!

My verdict? 10/10! Food is amazing, ambiance is enjoyable and the service wasn't that bad. Would definitely come back again!

Happy Birthday Alisha!!!

15 November. It was Alisha's birthday, about a fortnight ago! :D On the eve of her birthday, both of us plus another 4 classmates, Eng SoonWei LoonAnson, and Chuen Kwang went out to celebrate her birthday. We went for a karaoke session, and long story short, it involves lots of screaming and shouting and eating. Hahah! Not to mention lots of camwhoring sessions.

We sort of started planning this before STPM but it wasn't until the day itself the plan started to take shape. Initially the guys had asked me to make it seem like I was the only one who was going to spend the day with her. So I had told her that we were going out for a simple lunch and the rest of the plan will be kept a secret. As both of us don't have a car to travel around (also because we couldn't really drive safely yet), transport was a main issue. I assured her that I won't be driving and that there's gonna be a "professional driver" to fetch us around.

I made a birthday card for her in the shape of a Hello Kitty and had filled it with lots of pictures. Captions and comments are wayyyy to cheesy to talk about here.

Tadahhh!!! A glimpse of the Hello Kitty card I made for Alisha

The cream and black polka dot paper bag holds the Hello Kitty cup
*forgot to take a picture of the cup*

So in the morning, the guys and me set off earlier to get presents and the cake. The mischievous boys wanted to get her a bright pink bikini for her. Thank god it was way too expensive and so we decided to buy either a pink item or something with a Hello Kitty design on it since Alisha absolutely adores the Japanese cat. Problem #no1 : What to get her? Something pink? (You can find anything in pink -_-), or something related to Hello Kitty? ............. O.o We ended up in the gift shop, and thankfully we found some Hello Kitty things. First, to choose between a thousand items in the shop i.e a plushie, a fan or a cup or a clock. Narrowed it down to a fan or a cup. I personally wanted to get her the fan because it's so hot in class no matter where you sit. But then because the owner said that the pink one was sold off (there's only the red one left), so we decided to go with a tall cup. Next problem : which cup? 3 designs were available. 아....너무 답답해! Fast forwarded >>>>>> Chose a cup and a cute polka dot paper bag with much difficulty.

Placed the card half-hidden for her to find it when she gets in the car

When she opens the card, she burst out in laughter when she sees her picture. I thought she looked pretty in the photos rather than funny, but oh well ;)

And off we go to Neway, Centro to sing scream our hearts out. Sang from 1 till 7pm.

I don't know what they did, but the guys managed to get a birthday message on the screen with some Mandarin celebs singing the birthday song. We, who were left in the dark about this thought nothing of this and had changed it to the next song to sing. It's only after they arrived back that we realised that it was intended for our room..... blurness level : 100/100

The candles melted till.... ummm... is there a word to describe what happened to them?

The song was so long, and we took quite some time taking pictures, hence the badly melted candles. Thank god we did not buy an ice-cream cake. Alisha likes chocolate cake... Hahahha HALLELUJAH! More specifically black forest ;)

Mr shy-oh-so-hard-to-find-his-pictures-on-facebook

Since we're celebrating Alisha's birthday, she sort of have immunity to do anything she wants, and since there's very little to no pictures of Chuen Kwang at all, she cropped his picture out and post it on Facebook. I'm pretty sure it received a lot of likes, but I just can't seem to find the picture/post now. He's just too pro at hiding his pictures. TSK TSK TSK!

After eating the cake, it seems like everyone got a little higher due to all the excess glucose. Everyone wanted to sing and Alisha wanted to sing a song originally sung by a female singer while the guys wanted to sing a song by a male singer. As it was her day, she got to pick the song and so the guys teamed up against her. They decided on a song and sang it as loud as they can, covering her voice. [Picture above explains it quite well, me thinks]

THE END~!!!
