Food Trip to Bangsar

So it seems that my gang is planning to go to Bangsar for another foodie trip again, so I guess I should really blog about my first trip there. My first time ever in Bangsar. Yes I know aku katak. If you've never been there, let me warn you about the jam. Super bad. Don't even bother trying to find parking there. We went round and round for about 5 times before giving up and we just went home. Hahhahaa kidding. We came all the way already so why go home? We just went to the Bangsar Village basement parking. Our timing is damn good la cause 10 seconds after we parked (in the initially almost empty parking area) cars after cars came in and fill the area.

Rou Yi going back to the car to put her arm protector

Yes, she always wear these aunty looking hand protector when she drives

First stop! Antipodean

Look at the line. Don't look like much but 1 person translate to at least 45mins so that's like 4X45= 180mins which is 3 hours

Okay, we waited for only 10 - 15 minutes and then we got a seat. Omg so lucky! :D because the other people waiting in front of us came in twos and fives. There's only 3 of us and so happens that the table that just left was a 3 or 4 pax. We were asked if we wanted a table inside or outside and we said anything is fine, but no, it's not fine. A table inside means there's aircond and a table outside means aircond yilek. And outside is a smoking zone so if you smoke, by all means, sit outside but if you don't and hate breathing second hand smoke (like me), opt for a table inside okay?

Noh! Rou Yi, you're still too slow for my fast hands!

Slightly smiling also got laugh lines ><

Fresh flowers on da table yo

See the staff super busy. Walking so fast

While waiting for food to arrive

The oh-so-famous Big Breakfast (Bacon) [RM20] arrive shortly after we ordered

Latte art! [RM9] Ordered because of the nice presentation only. Taste so bitter. I'm not a coffee person. I mean I do like the aroma, but I guess I just don't enjoy the bitterness

Our table outside haz good lighting! :D

Carbonara Mushroom Spinach [RM17] Very creamyyy and cheesyyyyy and because of all that cheese, it's also very salty

Somebadeh needs to go easy on dat cheese - cream cheese to be exact

 Second stop! Milk and Butter

An artsy picture of the interior

Yes, camwhoring again while waiting for our food

Pity YYY and Ting who can't join us that day, so I cropped them in

Because both of us aren't ready yet

100% ready and the photo turns out blurry *again

Do you see what I see?

A funny thing happened. We waited really really long and our food hasn't arrived. It wasn't very bad because we were talking anyways but then we see the next table being served wayyyy ahead of us (when we ordered at about the same time). Decided to wait a little while more, and then we finally asked the waiter about our food.

Us : Excuse me, what happened to our order? We waited for quite some time already
Waiter : *checks our order* and asked "Would you like your desserts now?"
Us : ............. Ummmmm... and then it began to sink in.

They were waiting for us to tell them to prepare our food desserts while we were waiting for them to serve us. Because we only went in there for their famous desserts. While other customers have their meals and desserts there. Genius

Food has arrived! Like finallehhhh

Profiteroles Ice-cream [RM0] according to my receipt lol
Profiteroles is basically cream puff because it's hollow inside the crispy shell

Next, ze Warm Chocolate Cake [RM17] which is actually the Chocolate Lava Cake la.
No idea why they have to give such a boring name when people know the more interesting name better

Look at that warm chocolate flowing out!!! Omg I'm hungry nao

If I was alone at home I would've licked the plate till it looks clean. I didn't, of course. Because I'm so civilized like that!

When we went there's this buy 1 free 1 promotion and all we had to do was check in and post a picture of the desserts on Facebook and show it to the staff or cashier when you pay your bill

See? Tadahhhhh RM0 for the Profiteroles!

Milk and Butter. Conquered!

OOTD with the board before we leave

We were too full to eat so we went for a little walk in Bangsar Village. 1 or 2 idk. Maybe we went to both? Are the linked? Irdk. We actually decided to go for a movie, cause I saw the theatre icon on the elevator previously. So we walked around, looked at the directory walk somemore, and eventually took the trouble to walk back to the same elevator we took and find out that I mistaken Celebrity Fitness for a movie theatre wtf.

All that walking for nothing. But oh well. Burn all the fats!

Lego Christmas decorations! :D yes, it was before Christmas. 30th November to be exact. I checked!

Stranger... why you no take with the Lego house? When I specifically told you to take the Lego house? And showed you what I mean? I'm that creepy. Yes I know.

Third stop! Dip n Dip
It was a truly lucky number 3. There was a long queue and we went in before all those people because we consist of the right number of people. 2 is too little and 4 and above is too much.

Pity all these people hungry for chocolates

The Hui Yen taking a nap while waiting

Pitying all these people waiting outside while waiting for our food to arrive

At last! :D it's here. Our Crunchy Ice-cream [RM17] which had like 5% of ice-cream only, despite the name

Nom nom nom. Crispy and sweet. If there's more ice-cream it'll be cold and much more enjoyable

Tripple Crepe [RM17]

Okay. The line grew longer by the time we finished.

Posed with the Christmas tree outside Tous les Jours. Too full to eat ><

Paper cranes at Bangsar Village

Parked from 12.01pm to 5.47pm in Bangsar Village. Cost us RM9 -_-

Spotted this cute little yellow Volkswagen van. Kawaiiiiiii

Headed to Teh's house for karaoke (yes, they have a karaoke machine at home). And we sang mumbled listened to Wang Lee Hom's songs to bid farewell to this handsome no-longer-single man.

Farewell single guy no more~!!!

and BANGSAR, we'll be back!

*btw Antipodean and Milk and Butter serves plain water for free while in Dip n Dip, you have to buy your own water. In the bottle. At RM2.50 each. So cheapskate. But wait. Me complaining about them makes me a cheapskate too... right? Ehehehhee but this is broadlight robbery! Kthanks bye
