It's about time.....

......I blogged about Jeniffer's birthday party which was on the 6th of January :) The first birthday party of 2013. How can i miss it? Have been so busy with homeworks and assignments that I even have to sacrifice sleep :'( So anyway! The focus here is Jen's BIRTHDAY PARTYYYY!!! :DDDDDDDD

We went about half and hour later than the rest (although we all had gathered prior to the birthday party because they're supposed to sign the card/mini-scrap-book) because we planned to surprise her. Jeni sent of invitations via SMS and Jinn suggested that we lie to Jen saying how we have tuition and etc and couldn't make it to her party and then show up at the party. *Phew~! That's 3 ands in a sentence!

Horse-ing around

So the other day I helped Alisha to make a birthday card for her tuition teacher, who she calls her brother because he has the same surname and also because he's a very close friend. She decided that she wants to make a horse-themed card and so I had asked her to look for horses pictures on Google. This is what she found :

 

 

She initially wanted to make the "funniest" one aka the ugly donkey (last pic with teeth showing). I told her that it was a donkey and then she agreed to do the first one. But knowing how Alisha is a NOOB when it comes to using the computer, I went to search for horse faces/horse-themed cards on my own.

Since there is a tutorial on how to make this, plus its soooo simple to make, we decided to go with this design. But we added the hair on the head in between the two ears to hold the cards. Imagine the first horse picture above plus the one just above this paragraph. Can't imagine? Nevermind! We got take picture of the finished product! :D

We did this card at the very last minute. Just 2 hours before we have tuition that day, and ON the day when she's supposed to give it to the receiver. Conclusion : We deserve a pat on the back for completing it in such a short time. Yay! Big smiles :DDDDDDDDDD

Day Trip!!!!..... for education purposes

Thanks to the new STPM system, PBS (Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah) which means School-Based Assessment, and we, the Upper Six have to do some assignments aka kajian. In the name of getting some materials to include into our kajian, Alisha, Shuet Nee, Eng Soon and me went to Universiti Malaya's library 2 Saturdays ago to have a look at the thesis there. Unexpectedly took 152 pictures. HAHAHAHAH!!! So vain

Since we were told that it opens from 9am till 4.00pm on Saturdays, we set of as early as 8am hoping that we'll reach there by 9. Ended there at 11.30am cause we got lost -_- All of us don't know how to get there and so we relied on Waze (smartphone app). Results = GOT LOST! We passed through about 4 to 5 tolls, and I remember seeing signboards that leads us to Sungai Long and Semenyih. Somemore we were driving beside the Subang Airport's runway :O That's how lost we got. The GPS aka Waze brought us to many u-turns and many many many many many BIGGGG rounds and it kept recalculating. Either the app is a failure or we just couldn't understand the directions. 

Useless app -_- sheesh

By 9.45 we were feeling hungry, so we went to have breakfast at KLCC because it was the closest to us when we got directed back into KL city by the stupid app.  

 

 

 

 *gasp* so tasty... (everything taste good when one's hungry)

After eating already, everyone is in a better mood already, so camwhore loh!

Super katak

The big yellow number-ed thingy is for the thesis section. Super cool okay? You're supposed to put this thing where you take out the thesis so that you know where to put back later when you return it. But before this step you have to go to their website (ask the person in charge, they'll tell you wan lah) to look for the title, number and etc, and then fill in a pink slip and then only can go and find the thesis that you want.

Another thing, their wifi there is veli veli fast one. Used the opportunity to upload videos and download movies lah! Muahahahahah!!!!

Hungry again, so we head to SS15 to eat late lunch at a place called i-forgot-whats-its-called-already.
